- One of the following Freescale PowerQUICC II CPUs*:
- MPC8260 up to 300MHz core/200MHz CPM/66MHz bus
- MPC8265 up to 300MHz core/200MHz CPM/66MHz bus (83MHZ bus speeds also available for MPC8260 and MPC8265)
- MPC8270 up to 450MHz core/300MHz CPM/100MHz bus
- MPC8280 up to 450MHz core/300MHz CPM/100MHz bus
- CompactPCI 6U double height form factor
- The following memory systems are connected to the 60x bus:
- 256MB SDRAM SODIMM (user-expandable up to 512MB page based interleaving only)
- 64MB SIMM flash
- 2MB on-board flash
- The following memory system is connected to the local bus:
- Real-time clock w/8KB NvRAM using the ST M48T59Y
- 8Kb EEPROM
- Intel i8259A interrupt controller
- Support for the following PowerQUICC II peripherals:
- PCI controller (3.3v 32-bit PCI bus up to 66MHz)
- Memory controller (up to 100MHz memory bus)
- Interrupt controller and timers
- Up to three 10/100 BaseT internal Ethernet MAC interfaces using RJ45 connectors
- Up to one 10BaseT internal Ethernet MAC interface using RJ45 connectors
- Two RS-232 interfaces using Mini-DB9 connectors
- Hard reset via a momentary switch
- Memory-mapped seven-segment display
- JTAG debug connection
- 32-bit 33/66MHz PMC/PPMC slot on-board
- Basic hot swap capability using a SMH4042 hot swap controller and a Tundra Tsi310PCI to PCI-X bridge
- Mailbox connector
- MPC185 security processor**
